Paul McCartney has ‘fun’ breaking the rules of songwriting

Sir Paul McCartney says he’s still writing songs with the same rule‑dodging, wide‑eyed mischief he had as a teenager.

Sam Thompson blames Tiffany Watson’s friends for split

Sam Thompson says ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson’s friends are partly to blame for their split.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star parted ways with the blonde beauty just before the summer so that they could focus on their own solo projects, and the pair had planned on rekindling their romance last month, but the 23-year-old vegan refused to talk to her former beau after he developed feelings for Amelia Lily on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
Now, the 25-year-old hunk has opened up about what caused the breakdown in their relationship, specifically Tiffany’s friends, who he can’t stand for constantly butting in.
Sam told Digital Spy: "You can get a really silly thing and it’ll become a real big deal. I’ve always said this – I don’t like Tiff’s friends.
"Every time I would voice my opinion, I would just get shot down by a pack of wolves, and that would just make me argue back and stuff. That’s normally how it would turn out."
He also admits that their small arguments would be blown out of proportion for the sake of the TV show.
Sam continued: "My mates would get wind of it, or Tiff would be sort of like airing it to people. Unfortunately, I do find I spend a lot of time on the show being called a d**k by all these girls."
And ultimately, it made him distance himself from Tiffany and her group of pals.
He added: "You’re like, ‘Alright, then. Well screw you.’ It’s an immature way of looking at it, but it’s not easy, I’ve got to say."
Sam’s not speaking with Tiffany anymore, and during the filming for the new series – which returns to screens at 9pm this evening (09.10.17) on E4 – he simply had to "put on a brave face" to get through scenes with his ex.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, last month, he said: "I’m not speaking to Tiff anymore, she is doing her own thing and I wish her well. We work together and we film in the same room, she’s eh.. enjoying men. Coming back to ‘MIC’ hasn’t been easy, while I have been away, people have been busy but you gotta put a brave face on and deal with it."
