Sam Smith to perform at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball

Sam Smith has been confirmed for the first night of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball on Saturday December 9.
The ‘Stay With Me’ hitmaker – who released his second album ‘The Thrill of It All’ last Friday (03.11.17) – has been added to the star-studded line up on night one of the event, and he can’t wait to grace the stage at the annual festive show, which is sponsored by Coca-Cola, at London’s O2 Arena.
The 25-year-old singer said: "Any chance I get to perform for Capital at the O2 Arena is honestly amazing and I can’t wait. There’s such a good vibe at the Jingle Bell Ball and there’s always a lot of love in that room."
He joins huge names on the first night, with a fantastic bill featuring Rita Ora, Jonas Blue, James Arthur, Jax Jones, Yungen, Niall Horan, Major Lazer, Anne-Marie, Craig David and Dua Lipa.
Ashley Tabor, Global’s founder & executive president, said: "Today we announced one more huge name for night one (Saturday) of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola, Mr. Sam Smith. Sam is renowned worldwide for his incredible talent and we can’t wait to welcome him back to the stage at London’s O2 Arena."
Another huge name will be unveiled on Thursday (09.11.17) for the second night of the seasonal party, which comes days after Taylor Swift was confirmed for the Sunday show on December 10.
The Chainsmokers, Louisa Johnson, Stefflon Don, Mabel, James Hype and Matt Terry, Irish pop rock group The Script and ‘Came Here For Love’ DJ Sigala are also set to perform on the Sunday.

Tickets go on general sale at www.capitalfm.com/jinglebellball this Thursday at 8am. Capital VIPs have access to the first tickets in the pre-sale from this Tuesday at 8am and Coca-Cola fans can get early access to tickets through Coca-Cola’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
