Sam Faiers is to "put the record straight" on her relationship with ex-fiance Joey Essex.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star is releasing her new book ‘Secrets and Lies: The Truth Behind The Headlines’ later this month and it will reportedly be an "explosive" account of her on/off relationship with Joey, 24.
A source shared: "This is her story, in her own words. To say the book is explosive is an understatement."
Sam quit TOWIE last year following Joey’s decision to leave the show in 2013 but after he released his own autobiography ‘Joey Essex: Being Reem’, she’s now decided to open up about her side of the story.
The source continued: "This is Sam’s chance to answer back to all of the false claims in Joey’s book, she was shocked when she read his autobiography last year and wanted to put the record straight, as well as update on her story following her first book."
Sam and Joey’s relationship was mostly played out in front of the cameras for the ITVBe show but the 24-year-old beauty is now looking forward to revealing the reason behind their final split.
The insider added to MailOnline: "Sam has had lots of headlines in the past 5 years since she came into the public eye, her relationship with Joey was well documented but she talks for the first time about what really happened in this book."
Sam previously commented on her decision to tell all, saying: "The last few years have definitely been a rollercoaster ride.
"I’ve had laughter and tears, love and heartbreak and everything in between. So here is my side of the story.
"Here is the truth behind the headlines. I can’t wait for everyone to read it."
