Sam Faiers is ready to settle down with "the one".
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star split from on/off boyfriend Joey Essex in October but is already looking for love again because she prefers being in a relationship.
She said: "After my split with Joey, I put up a bit of a barrier with men because I wasn’t ready for something new. I wasn’t going out much and was focusing on myself and being a good auntie to Nelly – but it would be nice to meet someone new this year.
"I know I’m only 24 but I prefer having someone special in my life. When I do meet my next boyfriend, it’d be nice if he was the one I ended up with – I’m ready to settle down."
And Sam is hoping her friend and former TOWIE co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh’s new boyfriend, gymnast Louis Smith, can help her find a man.
She added to Closer magazine: "He’s perfect for Lucy because she’s really into fitness. Maybe Louis has some single gymnast friends to set me up with."
