Saara Aalto ‘lined up for Disney On Ice role’

Saara Aalto is reportedly being lined up for a ‘Disney on Ice’ role.
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ finalist – who finished in third place behind runner-up Wes Nelson and winner James Jordan – is said to have impressed bosses behind the live show, including her routine set to ‘Let It Go’ from Disney modern classic ‘Frozen’, and they are "keen to get her on board".
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "The execs at Disney were really impressed by Saara’s performances on ‘Dancing On Ice’. They particularly liked her routine to ‘Let It Go’.
"They are keen to get her on board for tour dates because they know she’d bring in the punters."
It’s said former ‘X Factor’ star Saara has been offered a big money deal to perform across Europe as part of the cast of the Disney themed figure skating show.
It wouldn’t be the first time she’s teamed up with the company, having actually voiced Princess Anna herself in the Finnish version of ‘Frozen’.
The source added: "They already know Saara is easy to work with, so it’s no surprise they want her to be on the tour."
While the 31-year-old singer has a string of show lined up over summer, the report adds that she is keen to see if she can fit in some of the ‘Disney On Ice’ tour dates.
Meanwhile, Saara previously opened up about the physical toll ‘Dancing On Ice’ took on her, but admitted the biggest challenge was moving to the UK and "fighting for [her] life".
She explained: "’Dancing on Ice’ was physically the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I was so broken all the time. But ‘X Factor’ was about my life. It was life or death.
"I took a huge risk coming to the UK and every time I was fighting for my life. So that was the hardest thing, definitely."
