Rylan Clark-Neal rewatches X Factor tears every year

Rylan Clark-Neal’s famous ‘X Factor’ tears keep him "grounded".
The 30-year-old television presenter forces himself to watch the iconic clip of his tears as he found out Nicole Scherzinger would be taking him into the next round of the singing competition in 2012.
Speaking to the TV Times, he said: "Once a year, I make myself watch that Judges’ Houses moment from X Factor. I hate it, and it will haunt me forever. But watching that keeps me grounded. I say, ‘This is what you wanted, you’ve got it, now use it.’"
Meanwhile, Rylan previously admitted he worries "every day" that he’ll be out of work, despite having a very successful television career over the past seven years.
He said: "Of course I worry every single day – what if I break my leg and I can’t work or something? But fingers crossed things and touch wood, things are going well."
And, although he gets excited when new opportunities come his way, Rylan’s husband Dan Neal – whom he married in 2015 – makes him question the job before he accepts.
He explained: "He’s my voice of reason. I’m in a lucky position where a lot of work comes my way and I’ll go, ‘This is amazing, I’m going to do it.’ and Dan asks, ‘Do you really want to?’ And I’ll go: ‘Actually yeah you’re right!’ There’s still that child in me sometimes that wants to everything I’m offered."
