Ryan Thomas is worried about his daughter dating when she gets older.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor – who has six-year-old daughter Scarlett with ex-girlfriend and co-star Tina O’Brien – has revealed he doesn’t want to be involved when she starts bringing boys home.
He said: "I don’t want to talk about that! I know what boys are like, so I’ll tell her to talk to her mum. There’s some things I’d rather not know about and that’s one of them. They won’t be knocking at my door, that’s for sure. I’ll make that very, very clear."
Scarlett is already following in the footsteps of her famous parents after landing the role of Matilda in an upcoming play and Ryan admits he loves seeing her take after him.
He shared: "She’s a mixture of us both. Her mum was a bit of a tomboy when she was Scarlett’s age as well. Scarlett loves to play practical jokes and jump out at people, especially my nana because she’s so easily scared."
The 31-year-old star – who has played Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap for 15 years – added to OK! magazine: "I love it every time Scarlett calls me ‘daddy’. And it’s so reassuring to know that she relies on me. To know she’s part of me and Tina is a beautiful thing, too."
