Ruth Langsford has banned Eamonn Holmes from appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ because she doesn’t want people to see him in his pants.
The ‘This Morning’ host, 55, is refusing to let her co-star and husband star on the Channel 5 reality series, claiming she won’t "have people see what [he’s] really like," after he was asked to appear on the show.
Eamonn, 55, said: "I have been asked to do Celebrity Big Brother and I say to Ruth, ‘I don’t think we can ignore this now.’ She is like, ‘That is not happening. I am not having people see what you’re really like. You and your underwear.’ It boils down to my underwear why I am not allowed to go on."
The Sky News anchor, who has been criticised in the past over his weight, added he would rather have a "personality" than be "thin" and c**p".
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I could give you a list of people who are thin, c**p and have no personality, I just work hard. The gods up there dictate."
Eamonn has been asked by show bosses to enter the house following a brief guest appearance on last year’s series which saw Katie Price crowned queen of the house over Katie Hopkins.
