Ruth Jones entertained by menopause

Ruth Jones finds going through the menopause "entertaining".
The 53-year-old actress finds it "fascinating" to see the impact her changing hormone levels have been having on her body and rather than be bothered by some of the symptoms, she "quite likes" them.
She said: "I might as well tell you that I’m going through the menopause.
"I quite like the hot flushes, I find them quite entertaining. I find it fascinating that they’re happening because it’s hormones doing it, so that means there’s still something going on."
The ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star’s dad passed away two years ago and she admitted she still "panics" when she realised he’s no longer around.
She said: "I still can’t get my head round the fact he’s not in this world. Even now I go to tell him something and realise I can’t.
"Sometimes it slightly panics me that he’s not here because I think – and I know this sounds like an obvious thing to say – there’s something so final about somebody dying. I miss him terribly."
But Ruth is glad her dad’s death was quick.
She explained to Red magazine: "My dad was 89. He used to joke and say, ‘Ruth, I’m in the departure lounge now, I’m waiting to go.’
"He died suddenly of a heart attack and I think that’s the way he would have wanted to go because he used to say, ‘I don’t want to linger’.
"I’m glad for him that he went that way."
