Royals enjoy Wimbledon final

Britain’s Prince William and Duchess Catherine watched the men’s final of Wimbledon yesterday (06.07.14).

The royals were among a star-studded crowd who watched a tense tennis match between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer in south London.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared to be deeply into the match as they expressed an array of facial expressions and hand movements throughout the fast and furious game.

Duchess Catherine, 32, was surrounded by family for the sporting event as her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, joined her in the royal box, as did her sister Pippa Middleton and her boyfriend Nico Jackson.

William, 32, and his stunning wife – with whom he shares cherubic 11-month-old son Prince George – were also joined by a host of famous faces such as David and Victoria Beckham, Samuel L. Jackson, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky, and Kate Beckinsale.

It was a weekend of sporting fun for the young royals as just a day before the men’s Wimbledon final – won by Serbian player Djokovic – William and Catherine, along with Prince Harry, 29, launched the Tour de France in west Yorkshire on Saturday (05.07.14).
