Australia has released two new stamps to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 88th birthday.
The monarch is set to celebrate the milestone on April 21 and in honour of the event Australia has released one domestic base-rate stamp costing 70 cent and one international rate stamp priced at $2.60.
Australia Post Philatelic Manager, Michael Zsolt, has been quoted saying: "This royal milestone is being celebrated with two stamps using images of Her Majesty taken over recent years. We trust this stamp issue will be popular with collectors and followers of royal events."
The stamps will be available for purchase from Australia Post retail outlets from April 8.
This comes days before Duchess Catherine and Prince William leave for their tour of Australia and New Zealand, where they will be taking eight-month-old George.
They are planning to stay at the Government House in Wellington, Admiralty House in Sydney and Government House in Canberra during their three-week tour and George is expected to have his own room at the three residences, while they stay in a guest suite next door, and nanny Maria Borrallo will be nearby.

Britain's Zara Phillips is training her husband's horse to win the first £1million Grand National.
The 32-year-old royal - who is married to Mike Tindall with whom she has 11-week-old daughter Mia - helps Michael Scudamore train Monbeg Dude at the Princess Royal's Gatcombe Park estate in the Cotswolds.
Michael told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The Dude certainly likes his visits to Gatcombe by royal appointment - it's a lovely place and it's something different for him.
"I've been taking him over there most Mondays since the start of the season.
"Zara hasn't been able to ride him because she was pregnant for most of the schooling but I think she enjoys it.
"She decides what exercises he should do and Mia is usually nearby - tucked up nice and warm in her buggy.
"The aim has been to improve The Dude's footwork because he was being a little bit lazy at his obstacles and making mistakes.
"He's much sharper now and I think Zara takes great pride in how his jumping has improved.
"To have someone that talented in the team is utterly invaluable."
Mike bought the horse an auction four years ago after he made a joke bid of £12,000.
The 2014 Grand National will take place on April 5.

Britain's Prince Harry hosted a boys' night out at London's Arts Club.
The 29-year-old redhead threw a "private little get together" for his close friends at the exclusive venue on Tuesday evening (04.01.14), where guests dined on a hearty meal of chicken and chips, washed down with white wine.
A source told EntertainmentWise: "Last night was lovely, but it was just a private little get together at the Arts Club, it wasn't for charity or anything like that. Cressida [Bonas] wasn't there but a lot of his rugby friends were as well as a few others, it was just a quiet little night."
Harry was reportedly joined by his pal James Haskell, while presenter Lizzie Cundy and 'Made In Chelsea' star Mark Francis Vandelli were also hanging out at the same nightspot.
The handsome royal has been busy catching up with old friends in recent weeks since returning from his charity South Pole trek this winter.
He sent fitness enthusiasts into a frenzy last month when news emerged he had joined a London public gym called Third Space, which costs £139 a month to use.
Harry's security was forced to step in when the star was mobbed by fans trying to take pictures of him working up a sweat on the treadmill.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth enjoys riding "small, stocky" ponies.
The 87-year-old monarch - who will be celebrating her birthday on April 21 - has been spotted out riding recently and people are amazed that she's still keen to enjoy the sport despite her age.
A source told the Mail Online: "It is remarkable to think that she is a woman rapidly approaching the age of 90.
"She isn't seen riding out at Windsor as much as she used to but still likes to enjoy the odd hack out when she can on a fine day.
"The ponies she rides now are fairly small and stocky but clearly are a more comfortable ride."
Elizabeth is still a familiar figure at the Windsor stables and takes an interest in all the animals, many of whom are now ridden by her grandchildren.
Earlier this week she unveiled a statue of two Windsor Grey horses, which was created by artist Robert Rattray, at a ceremony which took place at the Albert & Kings Road junction adjacent to the Long Walk at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, south England.
The statue portrays Daniel and Storm who are stabled at the Royal Mews and as the queen pulled a rope to remove the cloth which covered the piece a 400-strong crowd watched behind barriers before giving a cheer.
The breed of horse is significant to the Royal Family since it has been drawing the monarch's carriages at State occasions since Queen Victoria's reign.

Britain's Prince Charles was given advice on how to drink cider on a visit to Northern Ireland.
The 65-year-old royal and the Duchess of Cornwall was introduced to ancient folk group who wore woven straw costumes, as they toured Enniskillen Castle museum in Co Fermanagh.
Charles praised the Aughakillymaude mummers, who perform mid-winter plays to ward off evil spirits, for maintaining the tradition, and said: "I'm so glad you keep that tradition going."
Captain Mummer, Jim Ledwith, told Charles that they get into the spirit when they meet up with similar groups from England, who drink cider.
Since their straw costume covers their face, Charles enquired: "But you take the lid off first before you pour it in?"
Captain Ledwith agreed and the prince, who turned to another mummer, added: "By God, you must get pretty hot in there."
According to the Belfast Telegraph newspaper, the mummer replied: "It gets hot surely. You don't want to have hay fever."

Britain's Prince Andrew admits we shouldn't "be afraid of failure".
The Duke of York is hosting Pitch @ Palace on Wednesday night (03.04.14) at St James's Palace where 12 budding entrepreneurs will have the chance to put forward their ideas to an audience of business leaders, venture capitalists, investors and other individuals.
This is the second year the event will take place but last year's was done on a smaller scale and the duke insists it's a new idea which may fail.
He explained to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I'm looking forward to see what happens. I'm excited.
"This is about getting out there and doing it. To some extent, as a start-up, we are trying to do something that's new and has not been tried before, could potentially fail, and we'll see what comes out of it. It may surprise us all. We may find it's a complete disaster, I don't know, but if you don't try it, you'll never know.
"We are serial entrepreneurs in that we're coming up with these ideas all the time. This is just one of a number."
The 54-year-old royal believes failure is an "experience worth having" before achieving the end goal of "success".
He added: "Don't be afraid of failure. It's quite a good thing to fail. You'll never end the fear of failure, we can only encourage people to recognise that failure on the road to success is an experience worth having."

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were the subject of an April Fool's joke today (01.04.14).
The royal couple were alleged to have decided to travel by humble bus during their impending visit to New Zealand next week "in keeping with their frugal, down-to-earth public image", according to coach firm InterCity's joke press release.
The company quoted "royal insider Mr. Harold Jest" as saying: "Wills and Kate expressed a desire to see New Zealand like the locals do. This way they'll be able to observe the lovely scenery from an elevated view and partake in some good old-fashioned banter with our Kiwi friends."
They also announced the bus was being pimped out with a state-of-the-art baby capsule for the couple's eight-month-old son Prince George, as well as plush Lazy-Boy recliners for his parents to travel in style.
In yet another tongue-in-cheek claim, InterCity Coachlines spokesperon "April Dupé" revealed Prince William, 31, and Duchess Catherine, 32, would be treated to a premium 'Kiwiana' experience.
She said: "William and Kate will be treated to a gourmet hangi lunch, and passengers won't miss out either - every one on board will receive a goody bag packed with delectable home-grown treats."
Meanwhile, famous Kiwi singer Lorde was reported to be climbing on board the bus for an intimate performance of her hit song 'Royals'.
The royal couple are preparing to head Down Under on April 7, where they will visit New Zealand and Australia in just 18 jam-packed days.
