Britain's Prince Harry's lookalike sent US fans into a frenzy in Memphis, Tennessee.
Matthew Hicks, who stars in upcoming reality show 'I Wanna Marry Harry', caused chaos among the female population when he visited the city to promote his new TV programme, the very same weekend the real Harry was stateside for his friend Guy Pelly's wedding.
The 24-year-old Brit duped members of the public at tourist hotspots including Beale Street and the Lorraine Motel as they flocked to get their picture taken with him, believing him to be the 29-year-old royal heir.
Matthew - who shares the same red hair, posh accent and cheeky smile as Harry - has been struggling with the moral implications of conning people while filming 'The Bachelor' style programme, which sees 12 American women competing to win the supposed prince's hand in marriage.
He told My Fox Memphis: "I honestly hate the deception part. I just, I feel really guilty. It's quite scary. I'm genuinely glad I'm not an actual celebrity because it would be absolutely terrifying."
The doppelganger spent weeks swotting up on Harry's past, including his military training, schooling, scandals and former girlfriends, but insists he never explicitly claimed to be the royal.
He said: "Subtle hints were dropped here and there and they were left to come to their own conclusions and I had to play the part."
Asked whether he had found love on the show, Matthew teased: "That's a big word. Maybe."

Britain's Prince William flew back from Memphis, Tennessee, in economy class.
The 31-year-old royal proved he's a man of the people by shunning the lure of champagne and extra leg room in first class, instead joining the masses in standard class on his way back from his friend Guy Pelly's wedding to American hotel heiress Lizzy Wilson.
A picture was posted on Twitter by local reporter Eli Ross of William seated on the plane, alongside the caption: "I am still amazed #Prince William flies COACH. That's pretty humble/awesome. Who knew?"
William, dressed casually in jeans and a baseball hat, was making his way back to London alongside his personal bodyguards to rejoin his wife, Duchess Catherine, and their baby son Prince George.
This comes after the Chicago Tribune reported last week that the down-to-earth royal tucked into a humble meal of nachos and chicken wings at the International Terminal at O'Hare Airport on his journey out last week.
The prince was no doubt enjoying some down time on the plane after his wild weekend, which saw him "dominate the dance floor" and jump onto the stage with the wedding band to perform a crowd-pleasing rendition of 'Shout'.
William and his newly-single brother Harry, who has reportedly split up with Cressida Bonas, were quick to congratulate nightclub owner Guy following the private ceremony and despite the younger sibling appearing a little tired, the pair soon perked up and were "twerking until the early hours of the morning" at the reception.
A source told E! News: "Everyone was chatting and talking as they toasted their glasses and congratulated Guy and Lizzie. Harry looked a little bit tired and was yawning over and over."

The royal brothers and their cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were given a private tour of Elvis Presley's former home, which is a now a memorial to the late musical superstar, during their stay in Memphis, Tenessee.
The trip, which took place on Friday (02.05.14) was organised by their friend, British entrepreneur Guy Pelly, ahead of his wedding to American hotel heiress Lizzy Wilson at the Hunt and Polo Club Grounds on the Saturday.
Elvis' ex-wife Priscilla Presley was delighted when she heard the British royals had been to her former home.
She wrote on Twitter: "So happy Prince William, Prince Harry and the wedding group had a good time on their tour of Graceland."
Harry, 29, and William, 31, had the place to themselves, donning The King of rock 'n' roll's trademark gold sunglasses as they visited the extensive 14-acre estate.
According to the MailOnline, a staff member commented: "It is pretty special to have a future king take time to come to visit The King."
The royals were clearly making the most of the Southern experience and joined the wedding party for a classic barbecue meal from Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous restaurant in downtown Memphis on the Thursday night (01.05.14).

Britain's Prince Harry twerked up a storm at his friend's wedding in Memphis, Tennessee.
The 29-year-old royal reportedly couldn't be dragged away from the dancefloor at the reception following Guy Pelly's wedding to Lizzy Wilson, which was held at the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club over the weekend.
One guest told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Harry hit the floor pretty much as soon as the band started playing and was twerking into the early hours."
It seems Prince William wasn't shy about showing off his moves either and both brothers insisted the live band keep playing until the guests started to leave.
The "wild" bash culminated in the elder royal jumping onto the stage and grabbing the microphone from the lead singer.
Frontman Jimmy Church enthused: "Oh man, they wouldn't let us stop. They kept saying 'play another.' Prince William said he wished we could play for another three hours. They were having a ball. I was really shocked by William.
"We thought he would be laid-back, enjoying it but not really getting in to it. At first I asked him to get up on stage with me and he said 'No.' Then later he jumped up and started singing 'Shout' with me. He was dancing and jumping in the air. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"I've never played a party with so much energy. This was wilder and the kids weren't holding back. That's the wildest party I've ever played."
While William's behaviour seems out of character, it comes as no surprise that Harry can party with the best of them since the redhead famously came under fire in 2012 when naked photos were leaked of him enjoying a game of strip billiards in Las Vegas.

Britain's Prince Harry was seen "laughing and joking" hours before his split from Cressida Bonas was made public.
The 29-year-old royal and the 25-year-old socialite are believed to have ended their two-year romance earlier this week, but the prince didn't seem too upset as he worked out with a personal trainer in London on Tuesday (29.04.14).
A source at The Third Space gym told Us Weekly magazine: "Harry was at the gym at 6 p.m., working out with his trainer Winston [Squire]. He'd spent the day at the Invictus Games selection event, and was still wearing his Invictus T-shirt. He'd even brought a sweatshirt for his trainer with Invictus on it, which he handed over at the end of his workout.
"He didn't look down or depressed at all. He was laughing and joking with his trainer like he usually does and had a big smile on his face."
Harry joined the gym in November for physiotherapy sessions and regularly enjoys working out there.
A source previously said: "Harry says he finds it really hard to shift weight round his middle, so that's his main aim.
"Other than that, he just wants to increase his fitness. At the moment he's mainly been doing circuit-style training but he's been in the boxing room, and his trainer is getting him ready to start some sparring."

Britain's Prince Harry has been welcomed to Memphis by a local strip joint.
The party-loving prince has jetted in to the US city for the wedding of his friend Guy Pelly to Lizzy Wilson, and The Pony Club - the largest topless gentleman's club in Tennessee - has put up a huge sign reading 'Welcome Prince Harry', and the owners of the nightspot say both he and his brother Prince William are welcome to visit during their trip.
However, club owner Jerry Westlund admitted he initially also included William's name on the sign, but took it down because he is married to Duchess Catherine and they have a baby son, nine-month-old Prince George, together.
He told E! News: "We actually first put up on the sign two days ago when we confirmed they were coming [to town].
"We first put on the sign 'Welcome Prince William and Prince Harry,' but we took Prince William off because in case his wife does come we didn't want to create any marital strife.
"I can't imagine if Prince William and Prince Harry are coming to a wedding that the brothers will be sitting around in their rooms. If they want to party, they should party with us. There is always room for royalty in the champagne room."
In 2012, nude pictures of Harry were famously leaked after he played strip billiards while partying in Las Vegas, but Jerry has reassured the prince of his venue's full discretion should he wish to pay a visit.
He added: "We hope he does come here, but we will try to keep him fully clothed at the Pony. Prince Harry -- we can keep a secret. What happens in Mid-South stays in the Mid-South."

Britain's Princes William and Harry dined at a Memphis barbecue restaurant last night (01.05.14).
The brothers, their cousin Princess Beatrice and a number of other friends joined groom-to-be Guy Pelly and his fiancee Lizzy Wilson at Rendezvous, where they tucked into their famed grilled foods in a private room.
William and Harry arrived in separate chauffeur-driven cars to the restaurant, with both princes dressed casually, William in khaki trousers and a navy blazer and his brother in a blue shirt and jeans.
The pair both flew into Memphis yesterday, with Harry - who recently split from girlfriend Cressida Bonas - arriving from Miami, where he had celebrated Guy's bachelor party, and William flying in from the UK via Chicago.
During his stop at O'Hare's International Airport in Chicago, William - who has recently returned from a three-week trip to Australia and New Zealand with wife Duchess Catherine and their son Prince George - stopped for food, dining on pulled chicken nachos from Hub 51 and chicken wings from RJ Grunts in a private Swiss Air Lounge.
A source told People magazine: "A hostess and server from the restaurants took great care of him before he jetted off."

Britain's Prince Harry and his friends were like a "group of accountants" on a night out in Miami this week.
The 29-year-old royal and a bunch of pals celebrated Guy Pelly's bachelor party at Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Wednesday (30.04.14), and an insider insists the group were on their best behaviour.
Miami Herald blog Scene In the Tropics reported: "Had you not known there was a member of the British royal family sitting there with his back to the opening, you'd have thought it was possibly a convention of accountants or something similarly staid. They were definitely more Palm Beach than Miami Beach.
"Though we saw Harry happily chatting with his table-mates and one brunette female in particular, it was all innocent, friendly and, well, civilised."
Other diners were banned from taking pictures of the group, who enjoyed a lavish feast in a private dining room.
A source said: "He and his friends sat in a private dining room and had a long dinner, staying until after closing time. Among the dishes they enjoyed were duck salad, dim sum platter, stir-fried Chilean sea bass and Bahamian lobster. They were drinking cocktails, and coffee, and said they were enjoying the Miami weather."
The group left the restaurant and headed to nightclub Liv, and Harry was seen having "the best time".
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Harry kept his plaid shirt on and danced in the comforts of his own skybox. As for pictures of this controlled debauchery, no such luck. Neither pictures nor DJ shout-outs were allowed as 'per his security detail.' Staffers were sworn to secrecy or else it was off with their heads -- and their jobs."
Guy's three-day wedding celebrations to Lizzy Wilson begin in Memphis today (02.05.14), with heir nuptials taking place tomorrow (03.05.14).
