Sophie, Countess of Wessex is "proof" that leading a healthy lifestyle keeps you looking young.
The blonde beauty - who celebrated her 50th birthday yesterday (19.01.15) - is said to be an excellent example of how to look less than your years because of her healthy diet and exercise regime.
Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Roberto Viel - who insists the royal has had not gone under the knife - said: "Sophie is proof that lots of sleep and eating well will keep you looking young. Stop calorie counting and start enjoying the right foods."
Sophie - who has daughter Lady Louise Windsor and son James, Viscount Severn with her husband Prince Edward - is believed to follow an extremely healthy meal plan.
The Detox Kitchen's Lily Simpson told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Sophie Wessex looks fabulous at 50 thanks to her beautiful glowing skin.
"A diet of plant-based foods and lean protein has had a huge impact on the appearance of skin, as does keeping well hydrated and getting proper sleep."
However, women as active as Sophie are advised to follow a good skincare regime as well.
Transformulas founder Rosalind Chapman explained: "Sophie leads a very healthy lifestyle - she rides horses and runs regularly both of which help keep her body and skin in great condition.
"She also lives out in the country which means there is less exposure to the damage caused by pollution and free radicals.
"The tone and texture of her skin is beautiful which suggests she uses some sort of brightening serum."

Chris Evans is to broadcast live from St. James' Palace.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter will host 'The Chris Evans Breakfast Show' live from the royal residence after the Duchess of Cornwall showed her support for a children's short story competition.
The final of Chris' '500 Words' contest will take place at the palace in London's Westminster in May and will see 50 of the top entries invited into the royal grounds.
The radio DJ said: "We couldn't believe our luck when HRH the Duchess of Cornwall invited us to hold our live on-air final in the stunning surroundings of St. James' Palace. She's a supporter of the competition and cannot wait to meet and greet this year's 50 finalists on the day.
"Get writing and get in the mix, by Royal Appointment."
Duchess Camilla is a patron of the National Literacy Trust and likes to show her support for a wide range of literacy initiatives.
The 67-year-old royal is also set to attend a "story laboratory" to mark the launch of the contest - which aims to draw out budding young writers - at Weston Park Primary School in London later this week.
Anyone under the age of 13 can take part in the competition by writing a work of fiction no longer than 500 words before entering it on Radio 2's website.
The judging panel is made up of 'Top Gear' presenter Richard Hammond and writers Francesca Simon, Charlie Higson, Frank Cottrell Boyce and Children's Laureate Malorie Blackman.
Although 50 lucky children will be invited to St. James' Palace, just six of them will eventually be named as winners and their work will go on to be read on air by celebrities such as last year's contributors Benedict Cumberbatch and Hugh Bonneville.

Britain's Sophie, Countess of Wessex has promoted her chef to be her personal dresser.
The 49-year-old royal - who is set to celebrate her 50th birthday tomorrow (20.01.15) - has reportedly appointed David Quick to help choose her outfits, lay out her clothes and even wash her underwear following the departure of veteran valet Brian Tougher.
An insider revealed: "To say everyone is surprised is an understatement but good luck to him.
"It's true Brian did help her with her clothes but he had an eye for outfits because he is a keen ballroom dancer and had lots of female dance partners.
"David is very much a bloke's bloke and has never done anything in this field before. We never thought of him as a fashion expert but he obviously has hidden talents.
"As well as pressing her clothes and laying them out, he will be called upon to be in the room when the countess is getting dressed for a special occasion and might even zip up her dress at the back and help her on with her jewellery."
Although David will now assist Sophie - who has children Lady Louise Windsor and son James, Viscount Severn with husband Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex - with her fashion choices he will still be in charge of catering at their royal residence, Bagshot Park.
The source told the Daily Express newspaper: "It will certainly make a change from being in the kitchens, although he has retained overall responsibility for the catering."
However, the royal couple have brought in a junior chef and an Army orderly to help with other duties at the 50-room mansion in Surrey.
The source added: "Brian used to do everything from being butler to arranging flowers and they have been lost without him. That's why they've needed reinforcements to take on his work."

Cressida Bonas is now out of Britain's Prince Harry's "league", according to her friend Katie Glass.
The 25-year-old beauty - who split from the 30-year-old royal last year - has been linked to a role in 'Downton Abbey' and is no longer interested in Harry, according to her pal.
Katie said: "You could almost feel sorry for Harry - Cressida is out of his league now.
"And as if being dumped by someone who is hotter and could become more famous than you isn't crushing enough for a mere mortal, imagine the pain for a royal boy bred to believe such a thing is impossible."
Cressida recently wrapped on her first big movie role in 'Tulip Fever' alongside Dame Judi Dench and is also the new face of Mulberry and Katie says she's now in high demand.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I have met Prince Harry and I have met Cressida, and I know whom I'd rather spend a week partying with in LA [Los Angeles].
"She's easy-going, free-thinking, bright, modern and easy to relate to. In brief, everything the royal family isn't."
However, Katie admits Cressida - who studied for a degree in dance - still prefers to hang out in her native London than in Hollywood.
Speaking in a recent email to Katie, she's reported as saying: "Just got back from LA. I went to launch this Mulberry dance video I did.
"What a strange place. I think it's an acquired taste."

Vivienne Westwood has paid tribute to Britain's Prince Charles in her latest menswear collection.
The 73-year-old designer has had the Prince of Wales' face printed on several pieces of clothing from her Autumn/Winter 2015 collection to pay homage to "the great job he is doing".
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, she said: "I want to pay tribute to Prince Charles and the great job he's doing.
"If Prince Charles had ruled the world according to his priorities during the last 30 years, we would be all right and we would be tackling climate change."
Vivienne unveiled the pieces emblazoned with the 66-year-old royal's face during her show at the Menswear Fashion Week in Milan on the weekend.
An image of Charles wearing an Army beret was one of the key features of the show and Westwood explained how she'd adopted him as "patron of the collection" because of his efforts to raise awareness of organic farming and climate change.
The popular designer - who is a keen environmental campaigner herself - wore an oversized t-shirt bearing the image of the Prince as she walked down the catwalk at the end of the show, which also featured tailored suits, tweed and belted hounds-tooth checked coats, in a further nod to the heir to the throne.

Britain's Prince Charles has reportedly swapped his reading glasses for a monocle.
The 66-year-old royal is said to be conscious of being seen wearing his spectacles - which he was first spotted in at a British Asian dinner at St. James' Palace four years ago - and has therefore decided to opt for a less obvious style of vision aid.
The heir to the throne - who has sons Harry, 30, and William, 32, from his marriage to the late Princess Diana - unveiled his new tortoiseshell-rimmed eyepiece to his friends and family during a recent royal gathering at the Sandringham Estate during the festive season.
However, the Prince of Wales' latest accessory was not greeted with many compliments, with one guest reportedly joking that he looks like ventriloquist Ray Allen's dummy Lord Charles.
According to the Daily Mail, they said: "You look like someone should have their hand up your jacket."
A spokesperson for the royal family has refused to deny nor confirm whether news about the Prince's new eyewear is true.
A Clarence House spokesman said: "We couldn't comment on such matters."

Britain's Prince Andrew is reportedly considering making his first public statement on claims he "sexually abused" a teenager.
The Duke of York is understood to be planning to make a statement about the accusations when he attends the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland later this week, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.
Virginia Roberts, who claims she was a "sex slave" to the 54-year-old royal's former friend and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein when she was just 17-years-old, named Prince Andrew in legal documents alleging she was forced to have sex with him three times.
Buckingham Palace has already issued strong denials on behalf of the Prince - who is the second son of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh - but he is now expected to make his own statement live on television.
The World Economic Forum is usually off-limits to the media but it's believed the Prince will this year invite a TV camera to the drinks party so he can issue a further denial of the claims he slept with the then Florida schoolgirl in London, New York and the Virgin Islands in 2001.
Although the event will largely focus on promoting British entrepreneurs, Andrew - who has daughters Beatrice and Eugenie with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson - is said to recognise that he must address the "elephant in the room".
A source said: "This will hopefully be a chance for Prince Andrew to draw a line under the Epstein business and move on ... First he will reiterate the denial which has already gone out from Buckingham Palace. He wants to put this behind him and he realises that if he didn't address the allegations, then his message about entrepreneurship might get lost."

Campaigners have urged for Scotland Yard to investigate Britain's Prince Andrew.
The National Association of People Abused in Childhood has requested the Metropolitan Police Service looks into claims the Duke of York engaged in sexual relations with a woman in London when she was 17.
Peter Saunders, chief executive of the charity, said: "If crimes have been committed here, they should be investigated."
Virginia Roberts - now 30 - claims she was procured by the 54-year-old's friend, convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, to have sex with the prince on three separate occasions, one of which being in London while the other incidents are alleged to have taken place in New York and on Jeffrey's private Caribbean island.
Mr Saunders said: "Virginia Roberts has claimed she was trafficked and used and abused by Epstein, who is a convicted child abuser.
"I have urged police to look to see whether there is any evidence that what happened in London is a crime. If it is, he should be extradited from the US and made to face charges here."
The charity executive has passed on his concerns to Commander Peter Spindler, who was formerly the head of Operation Yewtree, investigating alleged historic sexual abuse by celebrities.
He added: "Whatever the fallout for Prince Andrew is for him to worry about."
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed it is "considering" looking into the allegations but said their "current activity" does not warrant an investigation as the case is currently being dealt with by a court in Florida.
A spokesman told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "A third party, with no involvement in the matter, has approached us. Officers are considering this. Our current activity does not constitute an investigation."
Prince Andrew denies the claims, with Buckingham Palace issuing a statement earlier this month saying the allegations are "categorically untrue."

Catherine Duchess of Cambridge caused a website to crash yesterday (15.01.15).
The wife of Britain's Prince William was photographed wearing a Madderson London "Naomi" frock while on a royal visit to a primary school in the Notting Hill area of the capital, causing customers rush to the brand's website to buy the outfit.
Posting an image on Facebook of the duchess wearing the dress, the label said: "The Duchess of Cambridge looks beautiful wearing our Naomi dress today at a visit to a London primary school!"
However, the message of delight was shortly followed by a statement which explained huge demand to purchase the outfit had caused the website to stop working.
They wrote: "Apologies but our website is currently down due to exceptionally high traffic volumes. We're working to resolve this as soon as possible! We'll advise once we're back up..."
The loose-fitting navy dress featured cropped sleeves and embroidered trim, with the 33-year-old royal matching the frock with four-inch pumps and dark tights.
The website of the luxury British label - launched in 2012 - has since been fixed, but they revealed the dress has now sold out and they have no plans to create any more this season.
They wrote: "Our website is back online! However the #naomidress has sold out following overwhelming demand... (sic)."
In a further post, they added: "the #naomidress has now sold out and we won't be making any more this season (sic)."
