Prince Harry is "looking forward" to meeting his new niece Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
The 30-year-old royal - who is now fifth in line to the throne - is currently finishing up his time in Australia, where he has been seconded to the military for a month, so hasn't had time to visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge since the baby's birth on Saturday (02.05.15).
Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine during a walkabout at Sydney Opera House, Prince Harry said: "I am looking forward to meeting her. She is beautiful. I have been given a hell of a lot of cuddly toys from (well-wishers) this morning and other things,"
While the rest of the royal family, as well as Kate Middleton's family have met the new Windsor, Prince Harry is about to travel to New Zealand for an official tour on behalf of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, so will still have to wait a bit longer to meet his niece.
As for his brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Duchess Catherine recently left Kensington Palace for their country home, Anmer Hall, about 110 miles north, where they are expected to spend most of the summer.
The 10-bedroom mansion - which was recently refurbished to add a tennis court, swimming pool and conservatory - is situated on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham Estate in England and was given as a gift by Her Majesty to the royal couple.

Prince Harry will visit a British officer who lost both his legs while serving in Afghanistan.
The 30-year-old royal is set to meet Lieutenant Ali Spearing in Sydney in the final days of his tour Down Under and the soldier confessed he is a little nervous ahead of his audience with the Prince.
When asked how he was feeling about the meeting, he said: "A little (nervous), we have actually met a couple of times before, so it's not as bad as the first time."
Lieutenant Spearing recently flew over to Australia from the UK to have new prosthetic limbs fitted at the city's Macquarie University Clinic which will aid his mobility and could even see him jogging once again.
He told Australian station ABC Radio earlier today (07.05.14): "I heard about this operation that's being done over in Sydney. It's worked out really well."
Prince Harry is well known for his work helping injured service men and women and enjoyed taking part in a game of wheelchair Australian football when he first arrived in the country at the start of his tour last month.
Meanwhile, the royal is still yet to meet his new niece, the daughter of Prince William and his wife Duchess Catherine, who was born in London on Saturday (02.05.15).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have caused a family run scarf manufacturer to sell out of shawls.
GH Hurt & Son Ltd, based in Nottingham, which specialises in luxury knitted items, has been forced to warn customers to pre-order their white woollen shawl after the royal couple debuted their new daughter, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, wrapped in the blanket on Saturday (02.05.15).
After the new Princess was presented to the world outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, global demand for the shawl, which cost £68, sky-rocketed.
Wrapping newborns in the GH Hurt & Son Ltd shawl is a long-standing tradition of the royal family, with 22-month-old Prince George having been shown off to the world in the same knitted blanket in 2013.
The firm also provided shawls for the birth of Prince William in 1982 and Prince George's grandfather, Prince Charles, in 1948.
One of the firm's directors, Gillian Taylor, told the Nottingham Post newspaper: "We have had a lot of interest and web sales have obviously grown over the weekend, as they woke up in the States.
"We were getting orders from America and Australia and all around the world, so it's lovely.
"I think they have clearly got an interest in the Royal family over there.
"It's been a delight - we have spoken to some lovely customers."
