Royal Family advertise for an intern

The British Royal Family are seeking an intern.
A role has been advertised at Marlborough House Workshops, with the intern working there from January 2018 until September of the same year, with a starting salary of £19,012.50 per annum being offered.
The job runs from Monday to Friday and will consume 37.5 hours per week.
The ‘About the Role’ section of the ad reads: "In terms of both quality and diversity, the Royal Collection is breath-taking. The Conservation Team’s challenge is to care for, preserve and restore this unique collection for the future.
"As part of our team at Marlborough House Workshops, you’ll gain practical experience in a wide range of conservation activities for our collection of ceramics and decorative art.
"You’ll learn various traditional techniques, covering assembling, filling, retouching and preparation. You’ll also assist with drafting reports and determine your own treatment options for ceramics and decorative surfaces.
"You’ll develop an understanding of our conservation and curatorial management systems and have the opportunity to gain an insight into a specific area of conservation responsibility through individual project work."
The ‘About You’ section says the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in conservation and the Royal Collection.
It continues: "You already have experience in rebuilding structural elements and have a good knowledge of how to restore some ceramics, including painted and decorative surfaces.
"A confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
"What’s more, you’re extremely organised, and your attention to detail will be second to none.
"Above all, you’re eager to immerse yourself in the unique learning opportunities that the collection presents."
The closing date for applications is October 29.
