Roseanne Barr breaks kneecap

Roseanne Barr has broken her kneecap in three places.
The 63-year-old actress suffered the agonising injury after falling over in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and is now set to undergo surgery next week and faces a lengthy stint of immobility.
Sharing a picture of her bruised and swollen knee, she wrote in a series of tweets: "Fell broke kneecap! Did Hillary drone me? Lol
"guys, i slipped in GG park in SF wh visiting my son,broke my kneecap in 3 places. My sister was w me, took control of situation. Surgery Mon.
"i will be in bed on crutches for three months! OMG.(sic)"
The former talk show host went on to thank the paramedics who had tended to her after her fall.
She posted: "i really want to thank the very kind & wonderful #SFParamedics who had to cart my fat ass out of Golden Gate Park over 2 hospital yesterday! (sic)"
Roseanne previously revealed she is suffering from eye diseases macular degeneration and glaucoma, which are causing her to lose her sight.
Speaking of how macular degeneration is causing her field of vision to narrow, she said: "My vision is closing in now. It’s something weird. But there are other weird things.
"That one’s harsh, ’cause I read a lot, and then I thought, ‘Well, I guess I could hire somebody to read for me and read to me.’ But I like words and I like looking. You do what you have to do. I just try and enjoy vision as much as possible – y’know, living it up."
And the ‘Roseanne’ star revealed the problem runs in her family.
She added: "My dad had it, too."
