Rosamund Pike got "butt naked" to breastfeed her son backstage at the BAFTA Awards last weekend.
The ‘Gone Girl’ star admits she stripped off at the British Academy Film Awards, at which she was nominated for Best Leading Actress, in London to express milk for nine-week-old Atom.
Speaking on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’, which will air tonight (12.02.15), Rosamund said: "At the BAFTAs Sunday night, I was like oh, and I just roped up into the chairman of the Royal Opera House’s office and just tried to put on the robe and I couldn’t do the buttons, and whipped it off. And I was just sitting there butt naked with the double breast pump."
She added with a giggle: "And if this guy had seen the kind of scene in his office, it was as underhand as if we’d been taking drugs or something. But it was the most innocent."
The 36-year-old actress has been one of the first stars to hit the red carpet at glamorous ceremonies this season but she admits her eagerness to be there early is because she has to prepare Little Atom’s milk before the event starts.
She explained: "I get there really early. I’m the sort of really uncool one who shows up very early for carpet. First off, I’ve never been early for anything in my life, right. And then I disappear off and I set up a sort of station backstage somewhere."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty also has two-year-old son Solo with her partner of five years, Robie Uniacke, whom she began dating in 2009.
