Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper going on tour together

Sir Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper are going on a joint tour of the US this summer.
The unlikely pair have announced that they will be hitting the road together in 2017 and will be kicking off their summer jaunt in Hollywood, Florida, on July 6 at the Hard Rock.
The run of concerts will conclude just over a month later in Houston, Texas on August 12.
A post made on Rod’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts read: "Oi! Get ready to let loose with me and special guest @cyndilauper on tour this year! Rod xxx (sic)"
Tickets for Rod and Cyndi’s tour will go on sale on Friday (27.01.17) via the Live Nation website.
Before joining the ‘Maggie May’ legend, Cyndi, 63, will tour New Zealand with Blondie for a series of shows in in April.
Both artists have been busy in the last couple years releasing new music and performing.
Last year, the ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun’ hitmaker released country album ‘Detour’ which featured Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss, while at the end of 2015 Rod, 72, brought out ‘Another Country’.
