Robin Thicke is ‘looking foward’ to next concert

Robin Thicke is "looking forward" to getting back to work on Thursday (27.02.14).

The ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker cancelled two tour dates before he and his wife, Paula Patton, announced their split on Monday (24.02.14), and one afterwards, but is now eager to get back on stage.

The 36-year-old singer posted a message thanking his fans for their support on his website on Wednesday (26.02.14), writing: "I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington, D.C. this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"

Robin pulled out of scheduled concerts in Atlanta on Friday (21.02.14), Orlando on Saturday (22.02.14) and in North Carolina on Tuesday night (25.02.14), and originally tried to blame the sudden cancellations on his "voice".

He is expected to reschedule the shows for later this year.

A source previously claimed that the star is still hoping to convince ‘Baggage Claim’ actress Paula, 38, that he can be a good husband and persuade her not to file for divorce.

The source added that the singer is also "really concerned" about their three-year-old son, Julian, and doesn’t want him raised in two separate homes.
