Robert Plant‘s Saving Grace heading on tour with Suzi Dian

Robert Plant‘s Saving Grace featuring Suzi Dian are heading on tour this year.

The Led Zeppelin legend and the soloist – who formed the group in 2019 – will be out on the road across the UK for a headline run alongside bandmates Oli Jefferson, Tony Kelsey and Matt Worley.

They will kick off the tour on March 13 with a show at Bristol Beacon, followed by gigs at Ipswich Regent, the London Palladium and Tunbridge Wells’ Assembly Hall Theatre.

From there, the band move onto Peterborough before dates in Nottingham, Hasting, Liverpool, Sheffield and Blackburn.

They’ll take a few weeks off, before returning to action on April 30 at Harrogate’s Royal Hall, while May will see the group play in Stockton, Coventry and Cheltenham.

In the summer, the band will be back at the Southend Cliffs Pavilion with a concert on July 23, followed by a show at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre the next night.

The tour has been described in a press release as “a rare opportunity to witness the collective’s unique blend of folk, Americana, and blues”.

Robert Plant and Saving Grace will also be part of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Royal Albert Hall in London on March 24, as part of the ‘Ovation’ 24 year celebration for the charity concert series.

The lineup for the night will also include The Who legends Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, as well as Stereophonics’ Kelly Jones, Pearl Jam icon Eddie Vedder, and Paul Weller.

Kate Collins, Chief Executive of Teenage Cancer Trust, previously said: “Quite simply, we would not be the charity we are without Roger and these shows and – more importantly than that – thousands of young people with cancer in the UK would not have had the specialist support and care they urgently need.”
