Robbie Savage: Lineker will love presenting MOTD in his pants

Robbie Savage is predicting Gary Lineker will wear blue underwear when he presents ‘Match of the Day’ in just his pants next season.
The 41-year-old ex-footballer is, like all soccer fans, looking forward to Lineker making good on his promise to host the weekly sports show nearly nude if his hometown team Leicester City won the Premier League title this season.
Since Claudio Ranieri’s team secured the championship, many people have been placing bets on what colour underpants the former England striker will wear and Savage – who played for Leicester City during his career – says they have to be same shade as the club’s kit.
He said: "They’ve got to be blue haven’t they? That would make sense."
Savage and Lineker, 55, are good friends and the Welsh international insists his pal has nothing to worry about when he does appear on BBC One with no top on as he’s great shape.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the regular ‘MOTD’ pundit said: "When he does it I guess it will probably be the first match of the next season – if I know Gary well.
"I was in Rio with him for the World Cup in Brazil, we had a a few relaxing hours on the beach where he had his shorts on. He was looking fantastic. He was going for a run every morning doing press-ups. I’m sure he’ll time it right … he’ll get back off holiday the day before ‘Match of the Day’ and I’m sure he’ll be really looking forward to it because I think it will be the most watched ‘Match of the Day’ in the whole history of the programme.
"I’m not sure he hates it as much as he’s letting on, he looks half decent anyway."
Savage has joined forces with Vauxhall – the official sponsor of the Home Nations football teams – to launch the #GetIn campaign to offer 20 fans the chance to his house for a garden party on June 16 to watch England versus Wales on a massive TV with a fully stocked fridge.
