Rita Ora will ‘miss’ The X Factor

Rita Ora will "miss" the ‘X Factor’ judging panel but hopes to work with big boss Simon Cowell on future projects.
The ‘RIP’ hitmaker has stepped down from the mentoring position on the ITV show following just one series but has admitted, although her stint was short, she had a "ball" and she’s hoping to remain on good terms with the 56 year old.
Taking to her Twitter account today (10.05.16), she said: "I had a ball on The X Factor last year and will miss the team. @simoncowell can’t wait to work with you again… I’ll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love X (sic)"
The 25-year-old beauty took the judging gig last year after she was poached from rival show ‘The Voice’ and, although it was her first time working on the programme, she proved her incredible talent when her act Louisa Johnson won.
Meanwhile, Rita’s exit leaves the future of the show in limbo at the moment as it comes just months after Cheryl and Nick Grimshaw also announced they will be stepping away.
The former Girls Aloud singer – who first joined the show in 2008 before leaving in 2010 and returning in 2014 for another two years – broke hearts across the nation in March when she confirmed she will be hanging up her judging hat for the foreseeable future to focus on her relationship with One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne and her music career.
And the radio presenter – who joined the show for just one series – decided he wanted his takeaway weekends back.
