Rihanna will reportedly release her new album ‘Anti’ next Friday (27.11.15).
The ‘FourFiveSeconds’ hitmaker has not yet confirmed the release, but several insiders have revealed she plans to put the album out to compete with her ex-boyfriend’s new record ‘Royalty’, released on the same day.
An insider told The Sun newspaper:"Everyone expects it to be out next Friday. Strategically it’s clever as it means she avoids a chart clash with Adele and Coldplay.
"She’ll have no problem competing with Chris."
The 27-year-old singer also shared a link on her Twitter and Instagram accounts on Thursday (19.11.15) to a new website, ANTIdiaRy.com, which has a teaser video of the album showing a sequence of shots of the star with a distorted audio file.
The star has teamed up with Samsung to release the new record in a £25 million deal for the website, which sends mobile phone users to a cryptic message, which reads: "You’ll know when it’s time."
And Rihanna also tweeted how overjoyed she is to share details of her album.
She wrote: "Excited to share this with you!! #ANTIdiaRy (sic)"
More information on ‘Anti’ is expected to be announced during Monday’s (23.11.15) American Music Awards.
