‘The Voice’ judge Ricky Wilson will have his raunchy dancing cut from tonight’s show (15.03.14).
A section of the programme – in which the Kaiser Chiefs singer thrusts his groin at fellow judge Kylie Minogue – has been cut from the upcoming broadcast because it was deemed too racy for the family show.
He was said to be gyrating with his hips to put the ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ hitmaker off as she gave an interview, he said: "I’ll give you a treat.
"I have to give you a treat every now and again. I wouldn’t mind a return of the favour any time."
However, according to reports in The Sun newspaper the stunt was "too sexual" for the programme’s family audience.
An insider revealed: "He’s obviously miming having sex, so producers decided to err on the side of caution and bin it.
"It was was a bit of banter but some people might take it the wrong way."
Although Kylie has been a huge boost for the show in its third series, the judge recently admitted she wasn’t sure if she’ll be returning for a second year.
She said: "I’m already doing it again in Australia, but UK or Australia, I don’t know if I could [do another season] because I’m going to be touring. We’ll see.
"I am doing ‘The Voice’ Australia so that will carry on until July. I’ve got to get through at least this one first, and then two with Australia."
