Ricky Wilson is in talks to land his own quiz show.
The ‘Voice’ UK coach has impressed Wall To Wall producers so much that they’re keen for him to host his own programme on BBC, which will be similar to the game show ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Producers are developing ideas to match his personality — irreverent and credible."
Meanwhile, Ricky’s co-star Will.i.am is also exploring other TV ventures as he will feature in a one-off 60-minute film with Joanna Lumley, which will air later this month.
The documentary, which is entitled ‘Joanna Lumley Meets Will.i.am’, will follow the ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ star as she meets the Black Eyed Peas singer, whom she has become "fascinated" with since watching him carrying the the Olympic Torch in the relay in 2012.
The 67-year-old actress travelled to Los Angeles in California to spend seven days at Will.i.am’s house, meeting his friend and family, and getting an insight into the singer’s life.
She said previously: "The film we made together is truly a rare thing — a side of will.i.am the public hasn’t seen yet, with interviews with friends, family and colleagues."
‘Joanna Lumley Meets Will.i.am’ will air on March 28 on BBC One.
