Ricky Champ reveals EastEnders 2-hander

Ricky Champ is to be involved in a special ‘EastEnders’ two-hander episode.
The 38-year-old actor has teased he has recently shot one of the "proudest things" he has ever done on TV after filming the sequence – which will involve just two characters – and while he confirmed his alter-ego Stuart Highway will be one of the two, the ‘Game of Thrones’ star remained tight lipped about the other character.
Speaking at the Inside Soap Awards at London’s 100 Wardour Street on Monday night (22.10.18), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "What I will tell you is an episode I had to do that I finished shooting a couple of weeks ago is one of the proudest things I’ve ever done on TV.
"I haven’t even seen it yet but I’m that proud of it. It’s such an amount of work I had to do.
"It’s a two-hander, but I’m not going to tell you who with."
Ricky also admitted Stuart’s nemesis Mick Carter – played by Danny Dyer – will be out for revenge on his alter-ego in the lead up to Christmas, and he is "really excited" to see the viewer reaction to his upcoming scenes.
He added: "It [Stuart’s reign of terror] can’t go on for too long, but it’s not going to end anytime soon. There’s still more work to do and still more stuff to come from me, so it’s going to be interesting.
"I’m really excited to see what everyone thinks after it happens. We’ve got obvious revenge coming from Mick. We’ve got seduction coming, I’m not going to tell you between who.
"It all culminates in what is going to be a great, classic ‘EastEnders’ Christmas."
Stuart recently got Mick sent to prison after telling police the Queen Vic landlord had shot him, but it has since been revealed that he shot himself and framed the Walford hardman.
Ricky first appeared on the BBC One soap in May and admits he feels like he has done about "10 years work" since his Albert Square debut.
He added: "It’s been pretty full on, I’ve done about 10 years work in about eight months."
