Rev Richard Coles’ sister-in-law dead from Covid-19

Reverend Richard Coles’ sister-in-law had died from coronavirus.
The 58-year-old musician – who sadly lost his partner David four months ago – took to Twitter on Wednesday (29.04.20) to share the devastating news of the death of former French teacher and Conservative councillor for Fletton and Woodston, Peterborough, Louise, who had contracted the contagious disease after battling cancer.
Sharing a snap of Louise and David, he wrote: "My lovely sister in law @lozaamandine died this afternoon with COVID19. She made lots of people very happy, not least @RevDavidColes, with whom she went on extravagant and unauthorised expeditions to her beloved North Africa. RIP, darling woman."
Her husband Andy shared Richard’s tweet and added: "And don’t forget that weekend ‘house hunting’ in France. We nearly ended up with two farmhouses and an eighteenth century cider press to share! The naughty step in heaven sounds like the place to be."
Andy also wrote: "I am very sorry to have to report the death of my wife Louise this afternoon. She had been unwell for some time with cancer, but caught coronavirus even while shielding. Thankfully we had time to prepare, but this was too soon."
A number of celebrities have shared their condolences with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Richard and his family after hearing the sad news.
Comedian Dara O’Briain tweeted: "Oh Richard, deepest condolences to you and to her family. X"
Matthew Wright wrote: "So, so sorry x" and ‘The Crown’ star Jason Watkins added: "So sorry to read this Richard. Sending you much love. J"
It comes after Richard’s partner Reverend David Oldham – with whom he shared a civil partnership – passed away in December after suffering a longterm illness.
Richard wrote on his Twitter account at the time: "I’m very sorry to say that Rev David Coles has died. He had been ill for a while. Thanks to the brilliant teams who looked after him at Kettering General Hospital. Funeral details to follow".
