Relley C blames cold on being voted off The X Factor

Relley C thinks she would have got further in ‘The X Factor’ if she wasn’t sick.
The 26-year-old singer was battling with a cold in the run up to being sent home from the ITV talent show on Sunday night (23.10.16) and is "gutted" that her illness affected her performance.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (24.10.16), she said: "Obviously I was a bit gutted because I’m only human.
"I’m just disappointed to have got sick at that stage of the competition."
Despite being the third contestant to leave the show, Relley insists she has no bad blood between fellow contestants including Four of Diamonds, who she thinks have the "potential" to win.
She said: "I’ve seen those girls in rehearsals and they’re on point. They’ve got so much potential. They’re really really good."
Relley failed to impress the judges with her rendition of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ and the panel opted to save the girl group after the sing-off.
Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell all opted to vote off Relley home, with only her mentor Sharon Osbourne wanting to see her through to next week.
Despite her upset at being voted off, Relley insisted she was happy to have made it past the first week.
She said: "From the start I said if can make it to the first live show I’d be happy… I could have done with a bit more time but I’m happy I got this far."
Her mentor, Sharon, added: "She’s a strong girl and she’s a fighter."
Relley’s departure was the first since voting changed to enable viewers to vote for their favourite acts from the beginning of Saturday (22.10.16) night’s show, rather than after the performances have all aired.
Next week will see the hopefuls perform tracks that fit the Fright Night theme.
