Rebekah Elmaloglou’s son lands Neighbours role

Rebekah Elmaloglou’s son will appear in ‘Neighbours’.
The 45-year-old actress – who has appeared on the Australian soap as Terese Willis since 2013 – has revealed her boy Kai, 11, will have a "small" cameo role on Ramsay Street in 2020 and she can’t wait to be on set with him.
She said: "My son, Kai, also has a small guest role on ‘Neighbours’ this year, which is lovely – so I’ll enjoy sharing that with him."
The soap star also opened up on big plans the show has for its 35th anniversary this year, and she has teased plenty of "unexpected drama".
She added: "During our 35th anniversary week, Terese has a lot going on, particularly with all of our returning guest cast – some really fun stories, as well as unexpected drama!"
And Rebekah has pondered some new year’s resolutions for her alter-ego, as she urged Terese to stand by her husband Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
She told Inside Soap magazine: "Don’t sweat about the small things, and don’t give up on Paul. They’ve been through so much to get to this stage – and I can’t do another wedding!"
While a host of former stars are set for a comeback next year for the celebrations, Jason Donovan has insisted he doesn’t think he needs to return – unless Kylie Minogue and Guy Pearce join him.
The star played Scott Robinson in the Australian soap between 1985 and 1989 and was involved in a famous storyline when he married Charlene Mitchell, played by Kylie.
The pair also dated off-screen and both went to have successful singing careers after leaving the soap.
He previously explained: "If Guy, Kylie and me agreed we’d all do three episodes, that’d be different because we’d be sharing it.
"It’s a bit like ‘Friends’. If all of them come back, then it works. If it’s just Joey, it doesn’t."
