Rebecca Ferguson wants Megan McKenna to win The X Factor: Celebrity

Rebecca Ferguson wants Megan McKenna to win ‘The X Factor: Celebrity’.
The 33-year-old singer – who was the runner-up on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 – had her heart set on the Martin Bashir taking the winner’s crown before he was eliminated in week three, but now she’d like to see the former ‘TOWIE’ star secure the record deal because she’s got an "amazing" voice.
When asked if she has watched this year’s series, Rebecca exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I’ve seen bits of it. I liked Martin Bashir, he wasn’t the best singer but he gave it a go. It was somebody you think of as being serious stepping out of his comfort zone. It was light-hearted. Megan McKenna. I have performed with her and she was amazing so I’ll be rooting for her."
The ‘Nothings Real But Love’ hitmaker is set to kick off the show’s final tomorrow night (30.11.19) with a live performance at BOXPARK Wembley screening party.
Just Eat will be delivering the ultimate ‘X Factor’ viewing experience, broadcast on BOXPARK’s 16-foot screen.
Meanwhile, the Celebrity edition may be coming to an end, but viewers are in for a treat as ‘The X Factor: The Band’ will hit screens next month (09.12.19).
And Rebecca thinks Simon Cowell’s clever adaptions of the original singing competition are what helps keep the talent manager so successful.
She explained: "Simon’s always been that way. He’s always changing stuff and that has made him successful."
The show will begin on December 9th and the final will air on December 15th.
It will see individual acts put together to form groups while Simon and Nicole Scherzinger dish out their no-nonsense views on contestants.
A source said recently: "Simon and Nicole are already winding each other up about who’ll pick the best band and the judges won’t hold back with their opinions during the auditions.
"It will be like a throwback to the old days where they’ll say what they really think – even if it comes across as harsh. There won’t be any time for wasters."
