Rebecca Ferguson announces new tour in support of album Heaven Part II

Rebecca Ferguson has announced a 2024 UK tour.

The 37-year-old singer is heading out on the road in summer 2024 for nine concerts to celebrate the release of her fifth album ‘Heaven Part II’ which will be released on December 5, exactly 12 years to the day that her debut record ‘Heaven’ came out in 2011.

Rebecca – who came second to Matt Cardle when she competed on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 – will kick off her musical jaunt on May 17, 2024 in Manchester and will stop off in cities such as Cardiff, Newcastle, Glasgow, London and Brighton among other destinations before bringing the tour to a close in Wolverhampton in June.

As well as working with some new contributors, Rebecca re-connected with some of the original ‘Heaven’ writers and producers to create ‘Heaven Part II’. The songs are a reflection of Rebecca’s past seven years – they explore love, family, joy, liberation and Rebecca’s journey to happiness.

She will celebrate the release of the LP with a sold out homecoming show at Liverpool Philharmonic on Saturday 18 November, 2023.

Speaking about the upcoming record, she Rebecca said: “This new album is my first independent album – I have put everything into it. I’ve pushed myself creatively and my heart and soul has gone into this!

“I’m looking forward to taking my new music out to the fans on this upcoming tour and having some fun. I hope people can connect with the music.”

As well as writing and performing her own material, Rebecca regularly writes for other artists and has grown a reputation for being a well-respected ‘top liner’ in the song writing world.

Most recently, Rebecca has been campaigning tirelessly for an improved environment within the music industry. She has successfully initiated a cross-creative industry committee that meets regularly with the government and members of the DCMS – and was the person behind the Creative Industries Independent Standards Authority (CIISA) which in time, will see better practices for the creative industries.

Tickets for her upcoming tour are available via TicketMaster.co.uk from 10am Friday (10.11.23).
