Rachel Weisz is eager to play a spy with "a large sexual appetite".
The 45-year-old actress is married to James Bond star Daniel Craig and although she’s dismissed the idea of introducing a female 007 as "nonsense", Rachel would be happy to play a similarly compelling secret agent.
The London-born star told The Sun newspaper: "I love the franchise, so I’m for hire.
"The idea of Janine Bond is just nonsense, but there is room in the world for a female spy willing to die for her country who has a large sexual appetite. Why not?"
Earlier this month, Rachel – who recently starred alongside Colin Farrell and Léa Seydoux in ‘The Lobster’ – revealed she would been keen to play an alcoholic at some stage in her career.
The actress – who tied the knot in 2011 – shared: "I suppose it’s interesting to play someone who’s committed to something. Even if someone’s committed to alcoholism; I would be very interested in that.
"It doesn’t matter if it’s forces of good or forces of destruction or self-destruction. Yeah, to be full of appetite is interesting. Otherwise, to be passive, it’s hard to play that."
