Quentin Tarantino wants to shoot a film in London.

The 51-year-old filmmaker "loves" England’s capital and would be keen to work on a project in the city.

He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I love London and I want to film there. I could do a comedy there. I’m really obsessed with 1970s London."

Meanwhile, the famed director is in Cannes where he is set to attend an event to celebrate ‘Pulp Fiction’.

He will walk the red carpet alongside Uma Thurman at the Palais this evening (23.05.14) before the crime film’s special beach screening.

Tarantino will introduce the film, which first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 1994 and won the the festival’s top prize, Palme d’Or.

He will also host the Closing Night screening of Sergio Leone’s 1964 ‘Spaghetti Western A Fistful of Dollars’.

Tarantino most recently worked on ‘Django Unchained’ with a A-List cast including Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio and the film grossed over $425 million worldwide, making it his highest-grossing theatrical release to date.
