Queen Elizabeth’s horse parp

Queen Elizabeth once said sorry for her horse farting – resulting in the Sultan of Bahrain thinking she had let one go.
Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell claims the 91-year-old monarch was once in a carriage with her husband Prince Philip and the Sultan when one of the equines indulged in a huge bottom burp, stopping the "polite conversation" as the smell "went straight through the carriage".
He said: "Imagine the picture. I’m sat here, people are singing ‘God Save The Queen’, and the queen and Prince Philip are next to me.
"Then, suddenly, a huge explosion of wind came from one of the horses in front."
While the queen attempted to say sorry for her horse’s parp, the Sultan appeared to then think she had done the deed.
Speaking on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia’, Paul added: "The queen leaned to Prince Philip and said, ‘Do you think I should say something?’ And he said, ‘Yes, do.’
"She leaned forward and touched the Sultan’s knee and said, ‘I’m terribly sorry about that awful noise,’ and she sat back."
"The Sultan leaned forward, touched the queen’s knee and said, ‘That’s quite alright, your majesty … I thought it was one of the horses."
The queen is known to be a huge fan of horses, but hasn’t always had great luck with equines.
In 2014, a horse tried to bite her while she was in Scotland, but she managed to avoid any injury.
She was reunited with the four-legged friend, mischievous Shetland pony, Cruachan IV, in August.
Upon spotting the horse, she joked: "Oh, we know where you are."
