ParalympicsGB also finished second in the standings after amassing an incredible 147 medals, 64 of them gold.
It’s been a whirlwind few days for the Olympians and Paralympians as yesterday (17.10.16) they attended an athletes reception in Manchester, where they were praised by Prime Minister Theresa May.
She said: "Can I, on behalf of the whole country, congratulate you all – TeamGB and Paralympics GB – on one of the greatest sporting achievements in our history. Well done to all of you.
