Queen Elizabeth ruled out of classical album

Katherine Jenkins’ plans to feature Queen Elizabeth on her new album have been ruled out by Buckingham Palace.
The classical singer wanted to include an extract from a speech given by the monarch in the 1950s before the song ‘This Mother’s Heart’ on her latest record ‘Celebration’ but the request was denied.
Katherine, 34, even offered to donate money to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Trust after being told the monarch’s speeches could not be used for commercial purposes but Buckingham Palace still refused her request.
A source told the Daily Mail: "This wasn’t her idea. She didn’t even know about it. Someone at her record label thought it would be a nice idea to use the Queen’s speech, but, in the event, it wasn’t possible."
And a Buckingham Palace source said: "We don’t agree to the re-use of extracts from Her Majesty’s speeches for broadcast purposes, except for documentaries of national significance."
Katherine has performed for the 90-year-old monarch several times and admires her "dedication and energy".
She previously said: "I’ve been fortunate enough over the last decade to sing for the Queen and meet her a quite a few times.
"I really admire her amazing dedication and energy and think she has a great sense of humour."
