Professor Green’s filming was disrupted by ‘knife-wielding’ man

Professor Green’s day of filming was disrupted yesterday (07.04.16) when a man allegedly turned up on set brandishing a knife.
The ‘Read All About It’ hitmaker – who was stabbed in the neck in 2009 – was left fearing for his life while shooting a documentary in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire after a stranger rocked up with what appeared to be a weapon in his hand.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: ‘"Interesting day filming. Some bloke was noising up while we were trying to film. Reappears later waving a blade about #cheltenham. (sic)"
The 32-year-old rapper later took to his social media account to play down the frightening incident, claiming that the silver appliance may have actually been a bottle opener.
He added: "In fairness he had a bottle of wine so it could have been a bottle opener… Cause that’s normal. (sic)"
According to Gloucestershire Police, no knife-related incidents in Cheltenham were reported at the time.
However, the weapon no doubt frightened the star – whose real name is Stephen Manderson – after he was left fighting for his life seven years ago when he was attacked in a trendy nightclub in Shoreditch, east London, with a broken bottle.
Meanwhile, the recent incident comes just two months after he and his wife Millie Mackintosh ended their marriage.
