Prince William’s ex auditions for The Voice


Prince William’s former girlfriend has auditioned for a TV talent show.

Rose Farquhar – who is believed to have dated the British royal around 2000 after meeting at Gloucestershire’s Beaufort Polo Club – took part in BBC’s ‘The Voice with the episode set to air this weekend.

The brunette beauty performed Dusty Springfield’s ‘Anyone Who Had A Heart’ for the four coaches, Ricky Wilson, Paloma Faith, will.i.am and Boy George, according to Radio Times.

Rose, 31, who is the youngest daughter of Captain Ian Farquhar, master of the Beaufort Hunt, and his wife Pammy Jane, is believed to have been William’s first love.

She previously competed in BBC’s ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?’, the TV show which launched to find a star for the West End stage production of ‘The Sound of Music’.

Meanwhile, Prince William, 33, got engaged to his longtime love Kate Middleton, 34, in 2010 and the pair married the following year.

Kate became Duchess Catherine following their marriage and the pair have two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, together.
