Prince Harry’s official tour of Africa


Britain’s Prince Harry is returning to Africa for an official tour.

The flame haired royal – who spent the summer carrying out conversation work in Africa – is to arrive for a week-long tour of South Africa and Lesotho on November 26.

The Prince’s tour will begin with a visit to Lesotho, where he will meet the Prime Minister Dr. Pakalitha Mosili and King Letsie III on behalf of his charity Sentebale before attending the openeing of a new children’s centre in Thaba Bosiu.

The Mamohato Children’s Centre supports Sentebale’s work helping vulnerable children in the country and will help them to reach a larger number of kids in the area.

Harry, 30, is then scheduled to travel to Cape Town in South Africa, where he will play in the annual fundraising Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup on November 28.

The fifth in line to the throne is to learn more about social issues affecting young people in the area and the work being done to address them during his latest visit.

He will also meet with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and carry out engagements at a youth centre before travelling to Durban where he is to visit The Sharks and Surfers Not Street Children, which both use sport for social development.

From there Harry will travel to Kruger National Park to discuss the protection of endangered wildlife before concluding his trip in Johannesburg, where he will spend his final day learning about the legacy of Nelson Mandela with a visit to The Nelson Mandela Foundation.
