Prince Harry has been named the "sexiest male" ginger, according to a new poll.
The 29-year-old royal – who is dating Cressida Bonas – beat ’12 Years A Slave’ actor Michael Fassbender to the top spot, in the list which was commissioned by the British Heart Foundation and compiled after they quizzed 2,017 people on their favourite flame-haired stars.
They were followed by ‘Homeland’ hunk Damian Lewis who landed third spot and ‘Sherlock’ actor Benedict Cumberbatch in fourth.
The poll was part of the charity’s fundraiser ‘Ramp Up The Red’ which promotes the wear of red clothing to raise money to help beat coronary heart disease
British Heart Foundation representative Polly Shute said: "Redheads know how to stand out from the crowd. Join them today by going as red as you dare.
"You can make your red statement by dyeing your hair red or wearing a red wig to show your support.
"It’s easy to do and you will be helping to raise funds that will go directly towards vital research, support and care."
