Prince Harry stayed on unknown island after ship broke down

Prince Harry was forced to spend a night on a mystery island in the Caribbean after the ship he is living on broke down.
The 32-year-old royal had to travel in a rib to the unknown location where he stayed on Sunday night (27.11.16) before returning to Royal Fleet Auxiliary boat Wave Knight in the early hours of Monday morning (28.11.16).
However, despite the technical glitch, Harry made his first engagement in Grenada on time.
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said: "Prince Harry and the tour party remained on Wave Knight until midday.
"The ship was still not able to leave St Vincent so the party travelled by rib to a nearby island where they arrived after 1pm for lunch.
"Wave Knight was not able to sail until early evening. As a night transfer was not possible, Prince Harry stayed in accommodation on the island and returned to Wave Knight early this morning (28.11.16).
The RFA support for the tour continues to be excellent and we are hugely grateful for all the crew’s work yesterday."
Other than being stranded, Harry is said to be enjoying his time on board the Royal Navy boat and has loved eating with the crew.
A source recently said: "He is really liking life on board, he took to it immediately and he is enjoying getting to know the crew and talking to everyone he meets. It is a reminder of his days as a serving officer in the Armed Forces.
"He is eating his meals with the team and the officers on the ship, in the mess with the other sailors.
"It is very traditional fare, a standard English breakfast and good, no frills food for other meals when he is on board.
"The Prince does not get any special treatment and nor would he ever want any from the crew.
He has, though, been given the captain’s cabin, in line with standard protocol when the ship hosts a member of the Royal family or a senior naval figure, and he is incredibly grateful for that."
