Prince Harry scraps skiing trip following recent controversy

Prince Harry has scrapped plans to go skiing in Verbier, Switzerland.
The 32-year-old royal had intended to hit the slopes in the popular resort, but decided to shelve his ambitions following the storm created by his brother Prince William’s lads’ skiing trip to the same destination.
A friend of Harry told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Everyone was expecting him, but he’d be mad to be seen here after the furore his brother created."
Harry decided to pull the plug on his planned skiing trip after his brother was filmed dancing awkwardly on a night out and was revealed to have attended a boozy lunch where a former topless model was also present.
By contrast, Prince Harry played two-touch soccer with a youth group at a community sports centre in Leicester last week.
The royal impressed young soccer players with his skills as he joined in with a game of two-touch soccer – which involves kicking a ball over a volleyball net – during a visit to the Southfields Drive Support Centre in a deprived area of the city.
During his visit, Prince Harry learned that the centre is under threat from council cuts, and met with young people who had gotten themselves into trouble because of a lack of things to do in the neighbourhood had pushed them towards crime.
Speaking to the local youths, the British royal said: "It’s ridiculous because these small organisations are the ones that are making the biggest difference.
"You’ve just got to have that support – and that belief to have someone out there saying because you’re good you can go out there and do what you can."
