Prince Harry presents RAF Honington with new colour

Prince Harry presented a new colour to the RAF Honington regiment on Thursday (20.07.17).
The 32-year-old royal visited the site near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, yesterday to celebrate their 75th anniversary after it was set up in 1942, and the red head delivered a message to the regiment on behalf of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate the milestone.
An image of Harry – who is an honorary Commandant of RAF Honington – meeting the troop has been shared on Kensington Palace’s Instagram account, which was captioned: "Prince Harry today presented the RAF Regiment with a new Colour @rafhonington and delivered a message on behalf of The Queen.(sic)."
Harry was also set to present The Firmin Sword of Peace to the RAF Police during his visit.
During Harry’s trip he met with local school children before he officially opened the new Station Medical Centre.
The post continued to detail Harry’s day of events. It read: "HRH was then greeted by local school children before officially opening the new Station Medical Centre. (sic)."
After he declared the site open Harry then met with people who have battled with a brain injury but have overcome the illness to support Headway UK’s Brain Injury Identity Card.
The photo-sharing post explained: "HRH then continued his visit to Suffolk by helping launch Headway UK’s Brain Injury Identity Card and meeting brain injury survivors who shared why this card is so important. (sic)."
But Harry didn’t come away empty handed as a 10-year-old child named Sam Brown – who is the son of Flight Sergeant Jordan Brown who battled with brain cancer – gave him the RAF Regiment 75 bear, as well as a bouquet of flowers.
