Prince Harry hugs terminally ill youngster

Prince Harry broke royal protocol to hug a terminally ill youngster at the WellChild Awards.
The 32-year-old prince attended the London-based ceremony last night (03.10.16) and was so taken with five-year-old Ollie Carroll, who suffers from Battens Disease, he shared a loving embrace with the little one.
Ollie’s mother Lucy Carroll told Harry he was "very lucky indeed" to receive a hug from the youngster, who cannot use his legs due to his condition.
She said: "He was thrilled – they both were.
"Ollie isn’t actually aware of who Harry is but just reacted instinctively to the way he was talking and interacting with him.
"He is brilliant with kids and just very natural.
"He was very privileged as Ollie cannot use his legs but he just used his strength to stand up and hug him. I felt really proud of Ollie – and of Harry too."
Harry also met youngster Jessica Davis, who was given the Young Hero prize at the ceremony for looking after her MS-suffering mother Paula and autistic brother William.
She joked to the prince that her older brother can be embarrassing, and he admitted his sibling, also called William, acts the same.
He told her: "I have an older brother called William, and he’s embarrassing all the time."
Harry was also gifted with a balloon shaped like a flower from a girl called Mikayla and a WellChild bracelet from three-year-old Joshua at the ceremony, which took place at the Dorchester Hotel.
A series of tweets on the Kensington Palace Twitter account read: "Thank you Joshua, aged three, for Prince Harry’s @WellChild bracelet! #WellChildAwards
"Abracadabra! Thank you Mikayla for the flower for Prince Harry #WellChildAwards"
