Prince Harry documentary coming to ITV

ITV will broadcast a documentary about Prince Harry this December.
The 32-year-old royal will be the subject of a one-off TV feature, which will follow the flame-haired royal’s "unforgettable" journey back to Lesotho in Africa where he started the charity Sentebale in 2006.
According to the press release, viewers "will bear witness as the Prince travels through the beautiful and challenging scenery to remote locations with his deeply personal aim of discovering the stories that he wants to tell to the world".
Head of Factual Entertainment at ITV, Sue Murphy said: "It’s fascinating to observe Prince Harry from boy to man, to see him following in his mother’s humanitarian footsteps and to witness his undeniable commitment and passion for his work in Africa."
Royal fans will then witness the moment Harry is reacquainted with Mutsu, a teenager he met during his first visit trip the country in South Africa in 2004.
The pair, who have kept in touch, last met in June when The Basotho Youth Choir performed at the Sentebale charity concert at Kensington Palace.
Mutsu traveled to the UK with a choir of five other boys and six girls, all helped by Harry’s Sentebale charity, to perform in a special fundraising concert, which will be headlined by Coldplay.
Harry founded Sentebale along with Lesotho’s Prince Seeiso, to help children affected by HIV and AIDS.
Meanwhile, one of the focuses of the film, will be showing how Harry developed "such an understanding of their problems, many of whom have been victims of the HIV and AIDS epidemic".
Big Earth Productions’ Russ Malkin added: "It was compelling to have access to Harry when he was clearly so relaxed and candid about his commitment to his work in Africa."
An interview with the prince and ITV’s Tom Bradby will also be shown, during in which they talk about Harry’s decision to start Sentebale and what he hopes to achieve with the charity in the future.
Harry’s documentary will air on ITV on Monday December 19 at 9.00pm.
