Prince Harry asks Harry Styles about his hair

Britain’s Prince Harry asked Harry Styles when the last time he cut his hair was.

The 30-year-old royal met the One Direction heartthrob at the filming of the Royal Variety Performance and reportedly quizzed him about his trademark long curly locks.

He said: "When was the last time you had a haircut?"

Harry, 21, has been famous for his hair ever since he first auditioned for ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 aged just 17.

The ‘Perfect’ singer has since worn his curls in a number of different styles including top knots and his current shoulder length cut.

According to Us Weekly he replied to Prince Harry saying: "I’m not planning on [cutting] it right now."

Harry is then said to have been asked whether he’d ever thought of growing a beard like the one the flame haired prince has been sporting recently.

He reportedly replied: "No, no. I’m not growing any facial hair."

Meanwhile, the show’s host Jack Whitehall is said to have referred to the famously laid back royal as the "King of banter" during the event.

Jack said: "Yes you’ve served your country with distinction in the British Army.

"But more importantly than any of that… you’re the kind of guy on a night out who doesn’t see a shopping trolley, but a ride home.

"Yes, ladies and gentleman, he may only be a prince. But when it comes to banter, all hail the King."
