Prince George’s £370 school uniform

The Duchess of Cambridge is set to spend almost £400 on Prince George’s school uniform.
The three-year-old royal is set to start at Thomas’s Battersea school, which is located just 20 minutes away from Kensington Palace, in London, in September this year, and his attire is reportedly set to cost £370, according to the Mail Online.
The oldest child of Prince William and his wife Catherine, who will celebrate his fourth birthday in July, will be required to wear a cagoule with the educational establishment’s crest emblazoned on it when he attends the school, which costs £6,000 per term.
Thomas’s Battersea school’s website has revealed in reception the young boys will have to wear a navy jacket with a jersey top and a pair of navy Bermuda shorts during the first few months of the winter term.
But by the summer time they will be able to swap their thick jumper for a short sleeved shirt and a white sun hat.
The children are advised to also own an art smock to ensure they do not ruin their outfits during practical lessons, and ballet shoes are essential for their physical education classes from the Royal Academy of Dance.
And in total the children are expected to have 24 items ahead of the academic year, although it has been advised parents may need to buy double the amount of clothes as spares.
A spokesperson from Kensington Palace confirmed the news George was attending the prestigious school in South West London last week.
In a statement, which was recently released, it read: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will send their son, George, to Thomas’s Battersea from September 2017 this year.
"Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have found a school where they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education."
