Prince George won’t have a best friend at school

Prince George won’t be allowed to have a best friend at school.
The four-year-old royal – the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – started at Thomas’s Battersea in London last week but he will be discouraged from bonding with just one person and, instead, pushed to make friends with everyone in his class.
Jane Moore – who lives close to the school and has friends who send their children there – is quoted by HELLO! magazine as saying: "No, absolutely not. There’s a policy that if your child is having a party, unless every child in the class is invited, you don’t give out the invites in class, which I think is a good thing as you don’t feel excluded. There are signs everywhere saying be kind, that’s the ethos of the school. They don’t encourage you to have best friends. It’s a very traditional school in the way that I learned when I went to school, in that robust learning.
"The phonetics of the alphabet and stuff like that, which a lot of school don’t do anymore. He will learn to read and write very quickly.
"It’s a school that really expects parental involvement. The parents are very heavily involved in the school, so they [William and Kate] will be as well."
However, the duke and duchess – who also have two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte together – will certainly have their hands full as they’re expecting their third child together and Catherine has been really ill with severe morning sickness.
The 35-year-old royal was so poorly that she sadly missed George’s first day at school and William, also 35, took him to meet his new teacher on his own.
