Prince George to be known as George Cambridge at school

Prince George will be known as George Cambridge to his school friends.
The four-year-old royal was dropped off by his father Prince William at St Thomas’s in Battersea, London on Thursday morning (07.09.17) and greeted by the head teacher of the lower school, Helen Haslem, who gave the nervous-looking youngster a firm handshake.
Sharing pictures of his arrival, Kensington Palace confirmed: "Prince George arrives for his first day of school at St Thomas’s Battersea with his father The Duchess of Cambridge… TRH were met by the Head of Lower School, before The Duke took Prince George inside to this reception classroom. (sic)"
The palace also confirmed that George will drop his royal title to make him feel as normal as possible during his time at the £17,604-a-year institution.
Unfortunately George’s mother Duchess Catherine – who also has two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte with William – was unable to witness her little boy’s big day as she is currently battling with severe morning sickness while pregnant with the royal couple’s third child.
A message on the palace’s Twitter shared earlier this morning read: "Prince George will this morning attend his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea, accompanied by his father The Duke of Cambridge."
The couple’s eldest child’s education establishment was previously described as "chaotic" and "busy".
A post about the school on The Good Schools Guide reads: "A big, busy, slightly chaotic school for cosmopolitan parents who want their children to have the best English education money can buy. That is what they want and, to a large degree, that is what they get."
And he can expect to feast on the highest quality foods at the private kindergarten.
Young George will be offered a choice of organic milk and fruit juices, lamb ragout, wholewheat pasta and much more at the private institution, with the only classic school dinner item being a dessert of jam coconut sponge with custard.
