Prince Charles visits terror attack victims

Prince Charles and his wife Duchess Camilla paid a visit to those injured in the horrific terror attack in London last weekend on Tuesday (06.06.17).
The 68-year-old royal – the son of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – and his spouse stopped by the Royal London Hospital – where 12 members of the general public who had been involved in the event were being cared for – to send their well-wishes.
A tweet posted on Clarence House’s official Twitter account after their visit to the medical centre said: "TRH met medical staff and those injured in the London Bridge terrorist incident during a visit to the Royal London Hospital today."
The couple – who got married in 2005 – also took the opportunity to thank the medical staff at the hospital who have been caring for the victims, who had been stabbed and mowed down by extremists in London Bridge, and praise them on their hard work.
The duchess said: "You can see that the patients are receiving wonderful care."
While the prince added: "You have a fantastic team here."
But their day didn’t stop there as the royal pair then made their way to Metropolitan Police Service’s Central Communications Command (CCC) to meet policemen and women and other members of the emergency services who responded to the attack.
Clarence House said: "The Prince and The Duchess met members of the emergency services today during a visit to @metpoliceuk’s Central Communications Command."
While the London Ambulance Service added: "Today the Prince of Wales & Duchess of Cornwall attended @BartsHealth to thank ambulance crews & medics who responded to the #LondonAttacks (sic)."
